The lymphatic system carries a specialized type of blood cell called lymphocytes through a network of tubular channels to all parts of the body including the bone marrow. There are collections of lymphocytes through out this system called lymph nodes . Cancerous lymphocytes can be confined to one particular node or scattered throughout the system. There are two main types of lymphoma, Hodgkins Lymphoma and non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Symptoms of Hodgkins Dis. include enlareged lymph nodes, possibly night sweats, fever, and weight loss there may also be an intense itching.For Lymphatic Cancer/ Lymphoma the herbs which I normally choose for my basic support mix are; Rosehips, Fenugreek, Wormwood, Dandelion or St Mary's Thistle, Parsley, Comfrey, Blue Flag, Chamomile, Fennel, Garlic and Red Clover. The Bach Flower Remedies which are included are Pine, Waterviolet, Walnut and Honeysuckle. These herbs in combination, support one another, and support a resolution of the over sensitivity to the environment which we find in patients with Lymphatic Cancer/ Lymphoma. Primarily we see these cancers as environmental often involving lack of self care. In addition I always recommend MaritimePine Bark a super antioxidant to dramatically stimulate the patients immunity and ability to fight the cancer.
